brinksBrink’s Nederland has chosen Paralax’s Rostar CAS software to manage its personnel planning and time and leave registration. The company urgently needs this more professional planning solution now that it has significantly expanded its portfolio of services from mainly transporting cash and valuables to servicing cash dispensers and car park ticket machines and managing the entire logistics chain related to money processing.

Brink's Nederland has been involved in professional cash and valuables transport, money processing and international transport since 1974. Whereas up to two years ago Brink’s mainly operated as a cash-in-transit company, the changing market situation has led it to take on the role of chain manager. In this role, besides the transport of cash and valuables Brink’s is now offering its customers other specialised products and services, such as filling, maintaining, organising and implementing malfunction support for cash dispensers in banks, emptying, filling and maintaining car park ticket machines, and counting, processing and recirculating cash.

Current planning system
With all these extra disciplines, it is crucially important that employees with the right qualifications are in the right place at the right time. However, the previous planning system was too basic for the new requirements, so Brink’s went in search of a solution that could professionalise its personnel planning and keep track of its multitude of activities.

Brink’s chose Paralax’s Rostar CAS because the package has exactly the flexibility it needs. With the package, services can be linked to employees with the right qualifications while fully complying with all the relevant safety requirements. The system is linked to the HR and salary applications from SD Worx, thus enhancing data-integrity and preventing double input.
